Thank You to Our Donors!

The SEKYAAMCC has been diligently working on discovering, recovering, documenting, and preserving the African American history and stories in Southeast Kentucky. We want to thank our donors that have made our work possible.

We would like to announce and thank Berea College for their Appalachian Fund: Folk Arts and Culture Grant in the amount of $9,000 to continue season three of Stories Behind the Quilt.

We would like to thank Perry County Community Foundation for their donation of $10,000 for our Summer Internship program.

We would like to thank Cowan Community Action Group for their contribution of $455.

We would like to announce and thank Berea College for their Appalachian Fund: Folk Arts and Culture Grant in the amount of $11,000 to continue season two of Stories Behind the Quilt.

We would also like to thank Waymakers Collective for a $10,000 grant to support our work in recovering and preserving African American history in Southeast Kentucky, including exhibition preparation!
